There is a colony of 1.5 million bats that live under Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin and at twilight it is amazing to watch them leave for their nightly flight. First word transmitted by a human from the moon: "Houston".

Texas is the largest state in the continental USA, covering two time zones and is divided into seven regions describing the different terrains (Panhandle plains, Prairies and Lake, Piney Woods, Big Bend Country, Hill Country, South Texas Plains, and Gulf Coast).
